14 March 2010 - Due to a tremendous downpour and high winds, the race has been postponed in hopes of finding more agreeable weather. Many hearty New Englanders still showed this morning eager to brave the elements - thank you for that support. We look forward to you returning this Saturday to partake in this first annual race.

28 Feb 2010 - The race has been approved by the New London Police Dept. We're going to have a race!

22 Feb 2010 - Permit for the race application has been forwarded to the New London Police Department and tentatively approved by the City Manager! We're moving forward.

11 Feb 2010 - Second meeting with New London Recreation Departement. The permit request has been submitted to the town manager and we are waiting to hear back. Due to the truncated time frame however, we are still moving foward in the planning process and hoping for the best!
